Bloodborne Pathogen Training

This training module is intended for Brigham Young University Hawaii employees and students who have the potential to be exposed to blood or other potentially infectious material. It is designed to provide a basic understanding of bloodborne pathogens, common modes of transmission, and methods of preventing exposure.

This training is introductory in nature. If your job responsibilities involve occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens you will need additional training that is specific to your work environment and work practices. You will also need to be given the opportunity to ask questions of the person conducting the training session. When you are done with the training, please complete the quizzes.
